What Makes a Mini Moment for this Mommy?

My Many Mini Moments is all about a mommy who cherishes every moment with her only son and wants to celebrate them by documenting as many as she can so that she remembers them once he is ready to head out on his own!

It is also about a mommy whose downtime -- as rare as it is -- is spent enjoying great TV moments.

My other mini moments include the joys of making a good meal for my family or going out for a great meal..
so you may get a foodie post every now and then as well.

Daddys Moment - Eye on the Ball

So today, I was judging a speech tournament for the first time in over 13 years - which I love! That meant daddy was home to take care of lil man.

As any good dad would do with a two year old, he was playing catch with him - well our son knows how to throw a ball but has yet to master the skill of catching. So, of course, daddy wanted to help him to learn to catch a ball. So, he threw Brendan the red ball and said "keep your eye on the ball." Brendan missed but reached down to pick up that red ball and proceeded to put the ball literally ON his eye!

Guess our son is more of a literal than figurative guy!

A fun laugh out loud moment with daddy - and for mommy as she heard daddy replay the moment for her!
